Amadou and Mariam, a duo of blind musicians from Mali have been harmonizing African music with rock, soul, and blues for almost thirty years. In 2005 this couple collaborated with Basque troubadour Jose "Manu" Chao and Italian ska trumpeter Roy Paci to record Dimanche a Bamako.
