This interesting compilation chronicles the basement recordings of a Michigan man named Felton Williams. Between 1967 and 1981 he recorded his friends and neighbors in a suburb south of Detroit. The compilation includes soul, gospel, and folk. Some of the tracks are a little rough, but that adds to the down home charm.Check out:
