Thomas "Cee Lo" Callaway

Thomas Callaway's father was a minister who died when he was two. Callaway grew up singing in church. In the early nineties Cee Lo and his Atlanta crew formed the rap group Goodie Mob, part of the larger Dungeon Family. They put out some heavy material. Cee Lo left the group in 2000 and began releasing his own material. In 2006, his idol and fellow Georgian, James Brown died. As white horses marched James Brown's coffin through the streets of Harlem, Cee Lo composed this song:
